Last weekend James had some folks over to play some Wii, eat some cheese, and drink some drinks. I was rocking the Wii like nobody’s business. Pictures on Flickr and .Mac Web Gallery.
BONUS! We even made a video! Here’s the YouTube:
BONUS BONUS! I’m trying out the new .Mac Web Galleries. Take a look and tell me what you think!

Look! It’s my photographic debut, online with Spin.com!
My friend MacKenzie was desperate for a photographer to shoot a gig her site was covering this weekend and I jumped at the chance to help a friend and have a great time in the process.
The band wasn’t anything special, but shooting the show and meeting the peeps was great. I’m going to try to do it again when the opportunity arises!
The craziest part? I took 153 shots and this was the only one that I thought was really, really good.

Check it out! Obligatory photos of our super-tiny, but ultimately super-sincere Christmas trees! The one on the right has ornaments that look like s’mores in the shape of snowmen!
UPDATE: My mom wanted close-ups of the snowmen / s’mores chimera, so here you go. To be honest, the more I think about this, the creepier it gets.

Last night, hundreds of BC law students descended upon Who’s On First next to Fenway for the much anticipated Law School Halloween party.
I dressed as a pirate, natch.
Tracy was more creative, portraying an all-to-ready-for-the-links Derek Jeter. It’s the World Series after all. Where else would he be?
(Note the expertly crafted tin foil golf club courtesy of yours truly.)
I only have one question lingering from the night: Why does Little Bo Peep need thigh-highs, garters, and 4 inch heels?

In the last 36 hours I’ve played 36 holes of mini golf, eaten just about the best burgers and BBQ ribs ever, and taken an awesome Sunday morning stroll along America’s favorite beach.
Plus, Andrew found a starfish! (Let’s not mention that shortly after we took this photo, the starfish detached his arm in an effort to escape.
I think I finally understand what my parents see in this place.

After avoiding a shocking accident on the highway (everyone was OK), Tracy, Natasha, and I entered the steel cage at USA Funway to face the dreaded slow pitch softball batting cages.
Let me tell you, it was one heckuva Labor Day. See the photos here.

Somewhat foolishly, Tracy and I jumped feet first today into a project to paint our entire apartment ourselves.
We were at Home Depot. The paint was on sale. They didn’t have any “tester” sizes to try out the colors. So we just did it.
I’m going to be out of town next weekend, so I bet it will take me almost two weeks to finish the paint job, trying to squeeze it into evenings and free afternoons.
Regardless, I think it will look great when it’s done. Here are photos of the paint we chose.
Living Room - “Butter Cookie”
(I love that we chose a color named after a cookie)
Bedroom - “Sapphireberry”
(Yes, the color name is that hoity-toity!)

A photo essay in 3 parts. See the rest of these snapshots here.
Part 1: Oh. My. God. There’s so much stuff.

Part 2: Where’s it all going to fit!?

Part 3: That’s what Penske is for!

I went to Comerica and lost my head, even though the Tigers lost. Tracy was very, very patient.
See the rest of the photoset here.

When we went to Michigan back in May, I took Tracy up to my home town of Grahnd Blahnc.
Finally! She understands where I come from.
See the full photoset here. Some highlights are below.
First, here’s a picture of me at the best place on Earth.
Second, Leave to dear ol’ GB High to post the god-talk at the front of the high school.

So they have prom at law school. I’m not even lying.
More from this event.

Just discovered some photos I took during the Boston Marathon in April. None of them are really all that amazing, although I do dig these really cold guys cheering on Colleen.
Thing is though, it all happened RIGHT OUTSIDE MY APARTMENT. Like, out my frickin’ window.
Anyway, click here to see the rest.

Tracy represented the two of us this weekend at Hugh and Rana’s wedding in Pittsburgh. I know my mom will dig seeing the photos, so I’ve embedded Tracy’s Picasa Web Albums slideshow above.

I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of “Love and Grilled Meat in the Time of Mini Golf,” a short film that serves as a preview trailer for a larger work currently operating under the working title “Vermont 2007.”
This epic short has it all: drama, action, and grilled meats. Characters are born, grow, and burn out in brilliant supernovae in just seconds of run time. The trailer itself is a work of Kubrickian proportions and it merely whets the appetite for the full-length feature.

Tracy and I took a whirlwind side trip to Syracuse, NY this weekend to see our friends Heather and Jason get married.
The service was a beautiful celebration of joy and love and I came away feeling uplifted and inspired. Heather and I went to school together and I was so happy to see her just beaming when on her special day.
A great time, with some great photos. More…
