Detroakland Day

On behalf of all of us here at BTP, I'd like to formally declare today "Detroakland Day." Here's why:

"I shed tears of happiness at a sporting event last night. That's never happened before."

- My buddy Adam, BTP's Official NBA Correspondent

Last night, the Golden State Warriors completed the greatest upset in NBA history. Believe me, I know how Adam feels.

He and I used to play video game versions of the NBA Finals - Detroit vs. Golden State. We always said the D and Oaktown were separated by distance, not by attitude.

Today, as the official ambassador from Detroit to Golden State Nation, I am proud to stand with the Warriors on what will surely go down as one of the finest hours in franchise history.

So, to all you readers out there, Happy Detroakland Day!
